Houston Yacht Club was established in 1897 and has been host to many North American and World Championship events. Houston Yacht Club will host the 2004 Olympic Team Trials Sailing Lasers with the Opening Ceremony happening Friday, November 7th. Racing will begin on Saturday, November 8th and continue throught Sunday, November 16th. Racing will occur adjacent to Houston Yacht Club on Upper Galveston Bay.
